Data Protection
On 25 May 2018, new legislation on the protection of personal data came into force, which is governed by the Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data – GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
The Institute of Endocrinology as a personal data administrator and a provider of health services according to Act No. 372/2011 Coll., on Health Services and Conditions of Their Provision, consistently takes care of the protection of personal data of patients, employees and third parties.
The Institute of Endocrinology has appointed a Data Protection Supervisor, who monitors compliance with this regulation and has the obligation to record and report personal data breaches.
